This is the last of day one at Montgomery.
Taking photos at a higher level permit views of thr roof, which shows that box cars have had their roof seams sealed. Last year several cars were lettered indicating the sealed roof (check the two RBOX). There were even some cars built this year.
The line from Montgomery to Merdian was a spin off from CSX many years ago forming the Merdian and Bigee (GWI). This line was then repurchased by the BNSF and CSXT, with MNBR handling local traffic. I happened to catch one of their trains which interchanged with the CSXT in Montgomery.
